Managing Director
Chris is an operator and serial entrepreneur who has held C-level roles at venture- and PE-backed companies including Kapsul, Sivoo, and SearchBuilder. His work spans product development, operations, capital strategy, and go-to-market. Across successive technology waves, he has built in natural-language search, video streaming, AR and voice interfaces, connected hardware, and AI.
His products have served millions and generated over $70 million in enterprise revenue. He has raised over $125 million through direct investment, fund formation, and advisory support.
At Big Lever Ventures, he has adopted each generation of AI as it became production-ready since 2022. His work includes agentic workflows, model selection and token allocation, governance for agents and connectors, human approval for external consequences, and adversarial evaluation of model output. Products include Big Lever AI, PlateSage, ExcerSnack, and LiftList.
Since 2010, Chris has taught strategy and innovation at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business. He has rebuilt every course he teaches as an AI-native curriculum and serves on the department’s advisory council. He chairs Big Lever Institute, is a Techstars alum and mentor (Boston 2018), and is an Edmund Hillary Fellow (C6).
Director
Phil has served as CTO of multiple venture-backed startups and as a leader at global companies. He leads technical and cross-functional teams on software projects, including cloud systems and machine learning applications.
His experience includes AWS, mobile applications, DevOps, agile delivery, and digital transformation. He connects engineering decisions to product delivery, operating efficiency, and growth, and works with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
